📏 Jewelry Inclusion Measurement & Shipping Guide

For Keepsake & Custom Jewelry

We are honored to create meaningful pieces that include your most precious materials — from a baby’s first curl to a pet’s fur or flowers from a special day. To ensure the best results, please follow this guide when preparing and sending your inclusions.

✨ How Much to Send

Inclusion Type

 - Amount

  • Hair

    • ​½ inch thick, 1–2 inches longSecure with tie or foil, place in small sealed bag.

  • Breastmilk ​

    • 1 tablespoon Fresh or frozen. Use a storage bag and double-bag if mailing.

  • Pet Fur​​

    • ​About the size of a quarter (loosely packed)Clean and dry fur preferred.

  • Dried Flowers    

    • ​2–3 petals or 1 full bloomMust be fully dried. Contact us if unsure.

  • Ashes

    • ¼ tablespon . Use a sealed bag or container. Remaining ashes returned upon request.

  • Fabric

    • ​1x1 inch (minimum)For tiny charms, less may be needed. Contact us for guidance.

  • Sand/Soil/Other

    • ¼ to ½ tablepoon Please dry completely before mailing.

📦 Packaging & Shipping Instructions

To protect your inclusions during transit:

  • Use labeled bags or containers with your name, order number, and inclusion type.

  • Double-bag any liquids like breastmilk.

  • Do not use flat letter envelopes — use a padded envelope or small box.

  • Include a note with your full name, order details, and any special requests.

  • Take a photo before mailing for your own records (optional but recommended).

🕒 Turnaround Time

Once we receive your inclusions, please allow 10-12 weeeks for completion. Custom projects or large orders may take slightly longer. We’ll stay in touch and notify you when your piece is ready. Check the status of your order here

💌 What Happens to Leftover Materials?

Any leftover inclusions can be:

  • Returned to you upon request

  • Safely and respectfully discarded if not requested
